Emeralds, new stuff, 1.3.0, map reset
So as you all probably know minecraft 1.3 is coming soon...new stuff will be added as emerald ore, sandstone villages, new "temples" in deserts etc.. So i was wondering will the map actually expand?...And another like "sub question" is: When will this map reset? It is quite important for me but yeah i know none of you know exactly when will it be done but anyways if someone can "assume" when will it be... Thank you.

I do think that there should be a new map for the update. I have yet to find an untouched NPC village or a jungle biome on the current map.

I agree we should get a new map in 1.3, also due to villages being less common now, I also think we should add some villagers to spawn. Speaking of which, will we be using the same spawn?

If we do we should make it less confusing for guests. Atm it's massive and spread throughout it is the information they need.

New update does look to be pretty substantial - so yes, probably a new map. As jarvis said, same spawn with perhaps some alterations most likely.

Owh thats sad, hours of building....damn...Kk so i just have 2 more questions: With the new map, we wont have any of our items right? And will we keep our money in the new map or it also resets?

As has been the case before, donator gil is given a week after a new map whilst command access such as superpickaxe is given a month after a new map.

I have a hotel room at spawn. It is considered INSIDE the spawn.

If all of my items are stored in the chests of the hotel room, will my items stay?

Probably not. More than likely all the plots/rooms including shop plots will be wiped.

yeah it would be very unfair to other players...if not ill buy a hotel room amd place all my chests with stuff there lol Tongue
